Tops and Tees

Tops are the biggest department here and the easiest to get wrong, because a photograph of a top on a model tells you about the model. Cut and fabric are what you are buying, and both are on each page.

Oversized and cropped are the two words that decide fit. Oversized means the shoulder seam sits down the arm and the body is wide by design. Cropped means the hem lands at or above the waistband. A top that is both is a very particular shape, and the filter lets you find it or avoid it.

Ribbed knits hold their shape wash after wash and show every line underneath. Smooth jersey drapes and forgives. Neither is better, and the fabric line on each page says which one you are looking at.

A tee in this range is not a base layer for winter and not a workout top. It is the piece worn on its own, in the months when that is enough.
